Hi, I’m Liz Walshak.
I am a multidisciplinary designer, visual artist, musician, and educator currently living in Boston, Massachusetts.
From a young age, I became very inspired by the relationship between music and visual art/design. I have worked as a freelance graphic designer for nearly a decade as a merchandise designer, poster and album cover artist for musicians. I believe that the visuals associated with music can tell a story, and create an aesthetic of a community and subculture.
I was trained as a traditional artist with a focus in drawing and printmaking at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The tactile nature of traditional media inspires my digital work, and vice versa. Additionally, I have worked as a visual art and graphic design educator for over a decade.
When I’m not making designs or music, I can be found traveling, biking, and hanging out with my two cats.
